2. Data Usage and Third-Party Services To provide weather updates, the extension sends user-provided location data (Zip Code or City Name) to the following third-party services:

Zippopotam.us: Used to convert postal codes into coordinates.

Open-Meteo: Used to fetch weather and geocoding data. These services receive only the location query required to provide the forecast. We do not share any other data with these parties.

3. Local Storage The extension uses the chrome.storage API to store your last searched location and unit preferences (Celsius/Fahrenheit) locally on your device. This data is used solely to provide a consistent user experience and is not transmitted to us.

4. Data Security We do not track your browsing history or collect data from the websites you visit. All communication with weather APIs is conducted over secure HTTPS connections.
